agak-agak korang la, which one is better? being a booksmart or street smart? of course everybody want to be both, tapi hakikatnya hanya segelintir sahaja yang ada kualiti tu. dulu saya suka tengok cerita the apprentice USA by Donal trumph tue...really adore him and bill rancic, which was the first apprentice. sampai berangan-angan nak jadi macam dia...hakikatnya? belum lagi...InsyaAllah i'll be there..amin....
kenapa saya tiba-tiba bangkitkan book smart vs stree smart ni? sebab...tak semestinya kepandaian seseorang itu boleh menjadikan dia hebat ketika berkerja. setuju? angkat tangan!!!! saya selalu dipilih untuk menjadi mentor kepada trainee-trainee or new staff dan macam biasa saya mesti interview they all dulu...hihihi....seriously most of the trainees have impressive education achievement, tapi lack of confidence, skills and public knowledge.
perkara simple, biasa la seorang mentor which is me..(hehehe) bukan selalu ada masa untuk mengajar trainee one by one, step by step. I have high expectation for them to act by their own self ask me or learn from on job training. tapi...most of them akan sit back and chit chatting among themselves!! hellloo!!! very annoying behavior yer....dtg untuk berkerja buat cara untuk berkerja. bila tanya you buat apa hari ini? oh...takder apa-apa...akak nampak busy tak berani nak kacau..i cuma diam tapi dalam kepala dah proses...first : lack of confidence, no initiative made to learn, bad communication skill...and so on and on...ambik kau...
kalau seseorang yang street smart, they will do their job without being ask. mereka akan dtg dan tanya, apa yang mereka boleh bantu. and mereka rela untuk on job training. sebab OJT la kita akan banyak belajar. disitu nampak kesungguhan seseorang yang mahu belajar, berjaya dan berkerja...
adoi...pada mereka-mereka yang baru grad tu..jgn la jadi book smart sahaja. carry yourself with confidence, equip yourself with knowledge and polish yourself with good communication skill! Malaysia boleh!! eh?? hahhaah...
