Antenatal Check up and delivery cost di Kelana Jaya Medical Centre (KJMC)

salam pagi selasa semua...apa khabar? hari ini tergerak nak tulis mengenai antenatal check up and delivery cost. Bukan apa, mesti ramai ibu-ibu mengandung disana mencari-cari hospital yang terbaik untuk deliver. betul tak? The most debating part is samada nak beranak di hospital swasta atau kerajaan?

 

 

Bagi saya dan suami, kalau boleh memang saya nak best service ketika melahirkan anak. Bukan apa, kita bertarung nyawa nak melahirkan zuriat, and of course we need and want the best for baby and the mother. Memang dari dulu we opted untuk beranak di hospital swasta. This time around, I choose Kelana Jaya Medical Centre (KJMC).

 

 

kenapa KJMC? the most important thing is, this hospital is near both from my house and office around 10 to 15 minutes driving time. Dekatkan? and another factor is, partly cover by my company..heheheh...so, saya dah 6 kali buat antenatal check up di KJMC with Dr Fatima Najla and here goes my review:-

 

Antenatal Check up:-

 

My first antenatal check up at that time was on 7/8/2014 whereby I was 24 weeks pregnant. saya buat appointment after office hour which the clinic start at 6.30pm. of course you need to call in advance and made an appointment ya...I choose Dr Fatima Najla, because of her reputation amongst the colleague was so good. Upon arrival at the hospital, I was guided to first floor which is the specialist clinic is located. and the nurse is so very friendly... Make a registration, and the nurse tanya selama ini, dekat mana saya buat check up and please hand over the book. then, timbang berat badan and urine test....Then awaiting turn to see Dr Fatima. Bila dah jumpa dia...gosh...she is a motherly type tau...memang tegas tapi sangat ramah dan banyak information..seriously I am very satisfied with her service. so the damage cost for the first time I saw her:

 

Consultation fees:

Specialist Procedures: RM90

Specialist Consultation Fees: RM90

 

Registration Fees: RM2

laboratory charges: RM5

 

the fees gradually akan berkurangan every time saya jumpa dia. Now, at 37 weeks antenatal check up, the specialist procedure she charges me RM40 jer...

 

And here is the delivery charges:-

 

upon our third check up, Dr Fatima siap-siap Tanya dimana saya bercadang nak deliver. and bila we make her aware that I nak bersalin di KJMC dia jelaskan harga yang KJMC akan charge. At this time, KJMC is having promotion whereby they charged:-

 

Normal Delivery : RM1,990* Excluding vacuum, epidural and forsesep

Package 2 days 1 night

single or double bedded

meals

baby basic immunization

 

Caesarean: RM5,990* valid for first time caesarean

 

Package 3 days 2 night

single or double bedded

meals

baby basic immunization

 

Untuk normal price for caesarean bagi second time caesarean patient onward is within RM7000 to RM8000.

Comeback!!!

setelah sekian lama menghilangkan diri sehingga ada yang bertanya, adakah saya tidak menulis blog lagi?? akhirnya I decided to start writing again...maaf kawan-kawan...bukan niat untuk menyepi diri...tapi dikala morning sickness yang melanda saya memang tidak mampu nak menulis lagi...

 

 

 

yup... I am pregnant again...Alhamdulilah...this is our second baby and we expected to have her this coming November...doakan semoga kali ini saya dapat bersalin normal yer... AAMiinnn

 

 

orang selalu berkata, ala second pregnancy..mesti dah ada banyak pengalaman..mesti dah tau macam mana nak handle morning sickness...trust me...I never had a morning sickness during the first pregnancy and I don't even have enough experience with the first child!!! so...setiap pregnancy memang berbeza...this time around during the 3rd weeks of pregnancy saya dah dapat rasakan saya mengandung. why??? because...saya sangat penat...always wanted to sleep.. always wanted to vomit and always tak tahan bau makanan...and guess what..the symptoms last long until up to 6 months of pregnancy...OMG!!!!

 

 

well..its a tough thing to handle being pregnant while having toddler aka aisya in the house with my hubby keeps going away...uhuhuhu...apa nak buat..dugaan...

 

 

and...while me going away from this blog...aisya has celebrating her second birthday!!! can you believe it??? she's two?? oh well...she's growing too fast...apapun...I stop my writing here today will continue to write for you...maybe anyone miss my recipe updates??? hahahah....I don't think so!! till later then!!!

Durian, Pregnancy & Aisya

i guess the king of fruit season is back!!! betul tak? dekat pasar malam tadi ramai ajer yang jual durian...nampak cantik-cantik...mmmm tapi sayangnya saya memang tak tahan bau durian...

teringat waktu mengandungkan aisya, saya lalu dikawasan seksyen 7 shah alam, and saw barisan kedai yang jual durian. Dan waktu tu saya rasa durian tu sangat menggiurkan....sampai saya keluar la ayat, sedapnya durian tue....kebetulan my mother was in the car and dia terus mengeluarkan amaran tegas: no durian for you! ha amik kau....terkulat-kulat saya dengar arahan mak ok....

lepas tu rasa tak puas hati, saya tanya my ObGYN waktu check up, and she said no problem, you can eat durian, but not too much...ha....balik dari check up saya terus cakap ngan mummy yang doc bagi green light untuk makan durian, tapi sekali lagi amaran keras dari mummy kata NO!!! 

saya banyak juga baca mitos-mitos mengatakan, durian tidak elok bagi perempuan mengandung kerana durian bersifat panas dan boleh menyebabkan keguguran. dan lagi, sekiranya seseorang yang mengandung itu mempunyai tekanan darah tinggi atau kencing manis, sangat tidak digalakkan makan durian. Tapi, bila saya adukan perkara ini pada doc, she said no such things. you can eat whatever you want except: raw eggs/food including sushi, oyster, and surprisingly she said to me process soy bean. selain dari itu semua boleh makan. 

tapi saya memang tak ambil durian sampai diakhir pregnancy bila saya dah tak tahan godaan durian. maklumla waktu tu musim durian and everywhere i can see durian. just imagine, after 100 meters dari tempat jual durian i still can smell durian. macam tu penangan mengidam saya. lastly my hubby beli sepeket, and saya cuma makan seulas sebab lepas tu saya dah pening kepala. 

when aisya masuk 4 months, air liur dia dah banyak meleleh, apalagi, semua orang kata waktu saya mengandung saya ada kempunan makanan menyebabkan air liur aisya meleleh ajer....hahahah...so not true ok...no such things. air liur baby bila banyak keluar tu sebenarnya dia nak tumbuh gigi....and turns out to be two of her bottom teeth cames out after that....tapi tak tau la, kalau memang ada air liur baby meleleh sebab mak dia tak dapat benda yang mengidam kan...hehehhehe....

Normal delivery vs c-section

Each of pregnant woman will scared bila dekat dengan waktu untuk bersalin. Siapa yang tak risau? First of mesti nervous to know whether we can endure the contraction pain. Secondly must be wondering how to make a correct push for the baby. Even experience mother who has delivered 2 or 3 babies will feel scare or nervous setiap Kali nak beranak.

So, are you prefer normal delivery or c-section? When having Aisya, I have set my mind to go for vaginal delivery. My OBgyn actually a little bit scared because I have asthma, but do support me to go for normal delivery, but by the end of the day I have to endured cesarean as I dah tumpah darah. Seriously, normal delivery has so much advantage as compared to c-sec. The first advantage is, normal delivery will automatically push the fluid to go out from the baby lung. Secondly, baby is being introduce with the "good" bacteria through the vaginal canal, helps form the baby heads and some doctor even said that baby who went through for normal delivery Lebih kuat daya saing. To mommies, normal delivery wounds are much easier to take care of. Tapi after that kena banyak buat kegel exercise la yer....

Sometimes the mother can't go through with the normal delivery. Some cases like if the mother have diabetes and the baby is more than 4kg, doc will advise to go for c-sec. Besar tu baby, takut tulang pelvis tak support the baby. Another case if the mother have high blood pressure that reach 150 confirm masuk OT.. There is high risk of the mother Akan tumpah darah when doc performs the operation and the risk losing the mother is high. The mother also Ada risiko darah beku pada kaki, paru-paru Dan pelvis, jangkitan kuman pada rahim Dan etc..

Tapi, kita pun tak tahu keadaannya waktu bersalin...mungkin memang kena perform c-sec atas sebab-sebab tertentu like baby songsang, placenta pecah etc...so banyak2 berdoa agar dipermudahkan urusan bersalin....InsyaAllah....
